I’m a digital media specialist always looking to expand my skills and learn new technologies and platforms. I have eight years of experience creating radio content and over two years of experience creating social media supported by strong administrative and customer service skills and knowledge.
I am a HUGE movie and entertainment fan, an electronic music lover and a devoted mum.
My goals focus on digital media content creation, marketing and great customer service. I thrive in environments where I can immerse myself in social, audio, video, graphic design, journalism and writing, music, marketing strategy and online technologies. I enjoy creating content where I can make a difference in areas such as healthcare, the environment and children's content.
Currently, I work as an Engagement Officer at the Department of Health and Aged Care. Through events like the Department's Tech Talk I support webinar creation, monitor media, create and collate content and engage with aged care stakeholders.
Prior to my current role, I was a Customer Contact Officer in a fast-paced call centre environment, and a Social Media Advisor for Ahpra, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Skills and tasks with Ahpra included creating various Adobe CC and video content across 15 medical boards, daily social listening, and monitoring of social media messages culminating in a weekly social media report.
Other recent work includes employment as a Customer Success Specialist for Localsearch.I monitored and delivered digital marketing results to clients using Salesforce CRM. This includes social media campaigns, Search Engine Optimisation and Google Ads. I used tools like Salesforce, Nucleus analytics, Loom video and Genysys phone marketing software for inbound and outbound phone, video and email communications.
Prior I was the Australian Manager and a Content Creator at Oigetit Fake News Filter and worked previously in digital marketing for GAOTek, managing a remote team of 11 in 2021.
I returned to Oigetit Fake News Filter after completing a social media internship that focused on Instagram, now after recruiting the new Facebook team, I am also building the Instagram and TikTok teams. The challenge posed, build a news community for Oigetit that fights fake news and misinformation. GaoTek digital marketing experience gained included monitoring the team, reviewing their daily reports, lead additions to Bitrix CRM to build knowledge on technologies for GAOTek, holding weekly meetings and more.
I'm currently studying a graduate certificate in Digital Learning with the University of New England.
My most recently completed large academic achievement was my Master of Digital Media with University of Newcastle in May 2021. Sadly, due to covid, I missed my graduation celebrations. Over the summer of 2020, 2021 I additionally studied with Curtin University in DIG28 'Animation and Motion Graphics Design' and University of South Australia COMM1073 'Introduction to Social Media'. Subjects I enjoyed in Trimester 3, 2020 of my Masters were 'MTEC6705 Music and Digital Media and ' Services and Relationship Marketing '. The post-graduate units culminated in video project plan and script for 'Music in Digital Media' called 'Music in Advertising' and 'Services Encounter Diary of Event Cinemas.'
